Theater 95 in Cergy-Pontoise, France

Theater 95 is the "living soul" of the new district Grand Cergy-Pontoise Centre. The restructuring project was launched in 2005 and the jury chose in 2007 the architect and urban planner Gaëlle Penault Dominique Montassut to equip the theater of bold architecture and thus make an emblematic place of the Grand Central neighborhood.

The interior of the theater turned 95. The historic hall with 200 seats has new rows of chairs and a leading accessible to people with reduced mobility. The atrium as an internal street and makes the junction between the old theater and the new part. Its roof lets in sunlight that reflects off the golden scales of the facade. The new room looks like a huge cube and accommodates over 450 spectators seated.
