The 8th Pakistan Fashion Design Council Sunsilk Fashion Week

The 8th Pakistan Fashion Design Coucil (PFDC) Sunsilk Fashion Week was held in Lahore from April 18 to April 21, 2015. The Fashion Week included designers, textile houses and high-street brands. The PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2015 built on their commitment to 3 distinct platforms within PSFW with separate and dedicated showcases by Luxury/Prêt designers only on day 1, early evening High-Street brand shows followed by late evening Luxury/Prêt shows on days 2 and 4 with day 3 dedicated to shows for Textile houses only.

The PFDC was established in September 2006 as the only fashion council in Pakistan, with its head office in Lahore. A non-profit organization, the PFDC was conceived with the aim to help facilitate Pakistani designers. To this end, the Council acts as a mouthpiece for the industry, representing and promoting Pakistani designers at all levels, both domestically and internationally.

The PFDC has established regular fashion weeks since February 2010, endeavoring to map Pakistan on international fashion week circuits, in collaboration with giant global brand Unilever and the world’s biggest beauty brand L’Oreal Paris.
