Secrets and Seawalls, a Collaboration of Revealing

An unprecedented collaboration: a choreographer and an architect confront power vs. vulnerability.

Does power exist in the structures we create? In the way we withhold information? In the walls and levees? Or, is it in the vulnerability and reveal before the storm? Now, think of a secret. Where does it live in you? How does it move through you? How would it reveal itself?

Secrets and Seawalls is about people, space and revealing.

What began as a simple enough stage work is no longer only for the stage. Secrets and Seawalls is now a site-based, multi-acre, immersive performance experience, and now is the time to FINISH the work.

With your help, we will call it DONE and premiere a work that has been built over 3 years through an utterly unique cross-discipline collaboration and with dancers that are some of the bravest souls I know. All funding will go toward the incredible artists on this project.
