ROAR: Smart Safety Jewelry to Reduce Assaults

Safety with one push. Smart jewelry that emits a loud alarm & messages loved ones with your location.

We built Athena to help save lives.

Athena is a simple device with a big mission - protect women from physical assaults at the touch of a button. By working with superstar technologists, self-defense gurus, and police / public-safety officers - we’ve engineered Athena so it acts as a deterrent by helping ward off an attack and instantly calling for help. When activated, it emits a loud alarm and sends text messages to loved ones with the wearer’s location.

Women should not need to alter their lifestyle, modify their behavior, or carry self-defense devices to protect themselves. Our goal is to help create a society where that is a reality. In the meantime, we are committed to helping make a difference. Athena is not just a product, it's part of a movement to ROAR for Good. For each device sold, a portion of proceeds is invested in educational programs that have been shown to increase empathy and decrease violence.
