Artwork of Hoyeon Chung

Hoyeon Chung is a mixed media artist from Korea. She creates unique shapes with different materials to express her everyday emotions in life. Her works are decorative and at the same time it has an idea and a "wearable art" concept.

"Since I worked with mixed media I can discover many materials through which I can speak. My daily life changes into shapes that I can touch, these shapes have a texture, color and character. This is a pleasant process," she said.

Hoyeon Chung and her husband glass artist Jiyong Lee live in Carbondale, IL, with their three boys.
