Help Us to Bring You Progressive Ballet in 2016!

YOU made our launch as Nora Gibson Contemporary Ballet a success!! We could not have done it without you! In our 2nd season, we bring you ambitious programming that we know you will be excited to continue supporting!:

THIS FEBRUARY 16-21, 2016 at Christ Church Neighborhood House Theater in Philadelphia:

* a full-evening ballet, Ephemeral, by Gibson featuring 7 outstanding classical dancers; original music score by noted ambient electronic composer, Michael McDermott; lighting by Dutch installation artist/lighting designer, Katinka Marac, known for her creation of powerful environments through light and color. Ephemeral is a cerebral and immersive experience about the beauty and poignancy of finiteness, and our perception of Time.

*the 2016 Philadelphia Screendance Festival: NGCB is proud to present this film festival, which celebrates the nexus between the cinematic and the choreographic! Film/dancemakers from all over the globe: Philadelphia, Montreal, Santa Barbara, Greece, Iran, San Francisco, NYC, London, and more . . . will be represented in three separate programs of short "dance-for-camera" films in this exciting, 6-day event.

Your support directly supports the artists at NGCB! It goes toward rehearsal and performance pay for the dancers, commission fees to a living composer, and collaborator fees for a guest lighting designer whose voice is unparalleled.
