Guo Pei Spring Summer 2016 Haute Couture

The 2016 Haute Couture Spring-Summer Fashion Week in Paris was wrapped up by exquisite and intricate dresses created by Chinese artist and fashion designer Guo Pei. In 2015,  her splendid design of singer Rihanna's dress for the gala of Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York became a big sensation.

Artist Guo Pei’s lifelong passion for Haute Couture is deeply rooted in her childhood. Her emotional and artistic understanding of Beauty and Art fueled her resolution to become what she is today: a renowned artist and a prestigious name in the Chinese fashion industry. She is the proud perpetuator of an embroidering and painting tradition that goes back thousands of years, and a modern messenger of her culture’s treasures.
