Breaking Walls around the World: Behind the Scenes with Leading Photographer Asher Svidensky

What if people could speak the same language all around the world?
Renowned British photographer Asher Svidensky presents his intake and vision for the future of photography as the first international language of our world - a language that can and will connect us all.

Asher's work has been featured on BBC and National Geographic; and earlier this month, Tedx invited him back for a second Talk, after his moving first appearance “Heroes in Stories.” His work, a mixture of art and documentary photography, is powerful and compelling storytelling. And whether you are interested in photography or not, Asher is full of inspiration and wisdom for us all.

Let’s hear from Asher himself as he shares his personal story and his advice for traveling and connecting to cultures around the world.

For more information about this talk and the photography of Asher Svidensky, please visit his website, Instagram, YouTube and The Global Commute.

The following video is a behind the scene look into his Feb 2015 photo project with the "Miao" Tribes of south China. A project that was led by the search for only one image - "The Miao Goddess". See the Full Project.
