The Siena International Photography Awards 2015

The Siena International Photography Awards at its first edition has already become the Italian photo contest with the highest international participation ever: 15,000 images submitted by photographers from over 100 countries around the world. The winner is Vladimir Proshin from Russia. His winning work “On the River” portrays Chinese fishermen boats on a river close to the city of Lishui, wrapped in a soft light at dawn. In Siena he has received his prizes on Saturday October 31st during an emotional ceremony attended by over 500 people including many of the contest participants as well as world-famous photographers. There are many honorable mentions for this contest. Here are some of the best photos.
